This image, captured on a crisp October evening in 2008, represents one of my early ventures into long-exposure photography.
I used a Nikon D200 paired with a Nikon AF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IF-ED lens and positioned myself on Waterloo Bridge to frame the iconic London skyline.
The composition encompasses the majestic silhouette of Westminster Abbey and the illuminated arc of the London Eye, all mirrored in the tranquil waters of the Thames. Employing a narrow aperture of f/22 and a prolonged shutter speed of 118 seconds at ISO 200, I aimed to capture the serene transition of light and movement in the cityscape.
